Review of Outpatient Registration Service Procedures at Permata Bunda Hospital Tasikmalaya

Abstract
Outpatient Registration Procedures are known as outpatient service procedures with the aim of knowing and understanding the registration processes carried out when registering patients, as well as the obstacles and problems encountered in the process. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a direct observation method of the outpatient service registration procedure that took place and interviews with outpatient registration officers at Permata Bunda Tasikmalaya Hospital, in order to determine the Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) for outpatient registration. The number of informants is 2 outpatient registration officers of Permata Bunda Tasikmalaya Hospital. The results of observations and interviews on February 25, 2025 in the outpatient registration installation showed that the outpatient registration process at Permata Bunda Tasikmalaya Hospital experienced a number of problems and obstacles such as incomplete registration requirements such as BPJS for BPJS participant patients, identity cards or family cards for new patients, referral letters and others. The outpatient registration process at Permata Bunda Tasimalaya Hospital has followed the SPO, although it has many obstacles.
