Factors Influencing the Utilization of National Health Insurance at the Tarok Health Center in Payakumbuh City

Abstract
Health insurance is a guarantee in the form of health protection so that participants can get health maintenance benefits and protection in meeting basic health needs. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect the utilization of national health insurance in the community in the working area of Tarok Health Center of Payakumbuh City in 2021. The study used a cross sectional study design. The data analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using statistical tests is chi square with SPSS version 10.0.5. The results showed that 68.7% of respondents who took advantage of national health insurance at Tarok Health Center. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the level of education (p value = 0.0001), knowledge (p value = 0.0001), health facilities (p value = 0.030), the attitude of respondents (p value = 0.030) with the utilization of national health insurance and there was no relationship between income (p value = 1,000) with the utilization of national health insurance in the work area of Tarok Health Center.
